Famed landmarks all around the environment switched off their lights for an hour on Saturday night as component of an environmental awareness marketing campaign, Earth Hour.
The Eiffel Tower in Paris, Rome’s Colosseum and the Parthenon in Athens were being all utilised in the switch-off.
New Delhi’s Akshardham temple, the Sydney Opera Home and the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona also joined in.
Earth Hour is organised by the Environment Broad Fund for Mother nature and it encourages people today to change off their lights for 60 minutes to increase consciousness of environmental concerns.
